Rachel and her team sorted through thousands of submissions and choose eleven renowned photographers with edgy, definitive voices who were inspired to bring a song to life visually through a photo essay. These photographers brought their own interpretations to the music of Own Your Own and shot their distinctive vision, almost like a photographic music video. These photos ran at an art gallery exhibit in Soho on September 26th & 27th, 2009 as part of the Own Your Own CD Release Party.
